Guys, maybe I can calm @Dak_Attack_09 with this
photo.

Notables:

- Rodgers (no ota’s or minicamp)
- Stafford (new team - clown, doesn’t even want to get CHEMISTRY)
- Russ
- Ryan Tannehill (just got julio - wow guys what kind of joke wouldn’t even take snaps with his new number 1)
- Derek Carr (attending church too much)
- Josh Allen (buddy just got paid, must be robbing the bills)
- Baker Mayfield
- Daniel Jones (LOL)
- Justin Herbert (2nd year QB, he should be even more ill prepared than Dak - assumption is he loses the first 5 games)

I’m being sarcastic on a lot of these but guys, drama sells. There’s a ton of other QBs not playing that we can go balls deep with excuses, bottom line is we are FINE! Go Cowboys

How many of them are coming off a season ending ankle injury and a recent shoulder injury?????
none, and that's the point here my cowboys brother.

NOTHING was wrong with any of them and the teams still wanted to protect their investment. I took economics - it's called opportunity cost. Let me educate you guys folks if we put up a chart here and listed the pro's from Dak taking 10 snaps the chance of him having a set back far outweighs that.

You have several NFL teams that don't even want to play their healthy quarterback for meaningless snaps - this is my whole point. We even have a team here that just recently paid their QB the highest amount in the NFL - their fans do not care Josh Allen is not on the field because they want him to be ready Week 1.

Now do the ones that haven't taken a meaningful single snap in almost a year.

sorry but we never had threads like these last year when we had zero pre-season games. I can't recall a thread saying Dak was going to suck because he didn't have his 10 snaps prior to week 1. Last year was even worse than this year and no one cared - like I said "drama sells"

How many haven’t practiced much after missing most of the last season?
yes, yes everyone would like to bark up my tree about this. Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in 2017. He threw 4 attempts in pre-season the next year. Oh man, can't imagine how much strain it must of done to that team to not have him out there for 10...

Folks have bad memory to recall their favourite player breaking his back against a Seattle team in the pre-season as well, because he had a knack for wanting to extend plays and make them. When Romo broke his collarbone that was a indictment on the coaching staff knowing he will go there and not throw it away, rather try to make the play - this is the exact same thing Dak will do. Let him get hurt during the regular season... give yourselves a chance to compete for real.

Forget about preseason. He isn’t fully practicing. Let’s solve that problem first.

Even if Dak was completely healthy, why would you play him?

Is he unfamiliar with his teammates? Does he have new receivers that he must get in sync with? Perhaps, he needs to get his timing down with a new offensive line?

Wait, i know!.....We are a little skeptical of his ability to hand the ball off to Zeke.

He's been playing for five years with Zeke,Tyron, Zach, and La'el, three years with Schultz, Gallup and Connor, and two years with Cooper. that leaves two starters, CeeDee and Biadasz. Seemed like he was doing pretty good with CeeDee at the beginning of last season.

Dak knows this team, it's his team. We don't need the risk of exposing him to some rogue linebacker trying desperately to make a team.

I just saw him throw like 50x during the Arizona/Texams game warming up. He was throwing it pretty far on some of the balls - he looks fine. You think the athletic staff of a billion dollar football team would let him keep throwing for the last 2 weeks if he wasn't healing or getting better?

The speculation on this forum is nuts - the guys fine lol. He will be in team activities next week - I'll Gorico Plat Guarantee it if I have to

- edit - ARIZONA and TEXANS game

Finally someone with a logical take.

It’s not speculation. It’s concern. Not sure why people have issues with others expressing that concern. It’s like you’re arguing against other wanting our team practicing to be the best they can be on opening night.

It’s real simple. If he’s fine get him practicing.
If he’s not practicing, quit telling us he is fine.

Did the half-billion dollar QB coming off an injury play?

While the economics of risk v. reward play into the other QB decisions, you also have to add the variable of recent injuries and how going from no pre-season game snaps to live action plays into that because physically speaking one could actually inflate the risk of injury.
