I would sign him to a 1 year deal. Then place a nonexclusive franchise tag on Dak.
Jax here he comes
Yeah. That's the one scenario I'm worried about with the nonexclusive franchise tag. I would hope that the Jets (unlikely), Panthers, or Broncos sign him. The Redskins have the cap space to sign him and they only have the 19th pick in this year's draft.
This is the same galaxy brained nonsense as "Dalton should make Dak nervous about his starting spot.
Come back of the year is well deserved and a tribute to his determination.
However, his injured leg began to fail late in the season. I dont think he can last a full season in the NFL.
No interest. if Dallas chooses to move on from Dak then use the #10 pick and get the best QB you can get. Messing around with old QB at the end of their career is a waste of time.
Well, what about The Dak's broken ankle? Watch him last this coming season, it's going to be awfully fun to watch all that!
no...i meant Smith will sign with Jax. reunite with Meyer and help groom Lawerence
I can't see him signing, right away anyways, with a team with a set starter.
Maybe a team that is planning to draft a QB but knows it's not smart to throw a rookie to the wolves right away.
Jax, Jets, Carolina?, Bears etc...
Come on we don't want Alex Smith basically an older more banged up version of Dak Prescott
Don't you know that Dak is worth two 1's. That's what I hear anyways.
Dak will be signed to long term deal Tuesday
Lol are you serious
So, now he's the ... "Don't Come Back Player of the the Year"
He could be Kansas City or San Francisco's "Welcome Back Player of the Year."
Hope he doesn't sign with a team drafting higher than the Cowboys.
Just stop with the nonexclusive tag garbage IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN
