Height: 6'2
Weight: 210
Year: RS Senior

-A QB who has really been playing well down the stretch of the season. Averaging over 300 yards passing w/ 11 TD's and only 1 INT over his last 3 games.

-Mel Kiper recently said after Arkansas's thrilling 2OT victory over Ole Miss that he thinks Allen has played himself into a 4th or 5th-round pick.

-I've been watching him play the last couple years and he's really improved dramatically. And the kid is a gamer. Doesn't have a cannon, but has solid enough arm-strength and can make the throws. Good size at 6'2 210 (about the same as Romo his rookie year). Underrated athlete who can also make plays with his legs when the pocket collapses.

-We all know how Jerrah loves himself some Arkansas players. Wouldn't be surprised if he took a mid round flyer on him if we decide to go that route. Seems more likely than taking a QB in Round 1 after Jerry's comments last week about Romo playing another 5 years. Allen's also a three-year starter and runs a prostyle offense at Arkansas. All bonuses. Just a name to keep an eye on.

Granted he's been much better this season, here's some of his game tape against LSU and Bama from last year.

I hope that he is a future Cowboy, along with Alex Collins. And as Sooner fan, I'd like to add Eric Striker.

I'm an ark fan. He's a priority free agent after the draft imo. Average arm talent. Not consistent. Finally developed into a good college player.

I think he's going to be drafted though. Prob somewhere between rounds 5-7. You're right, he has only average arm talent, but he's a good athlete with decent size who can make the throws. He also plays in a pro-style offense against the best defenses in CFB, and has a good head on his shoulders. I think all that plays in his favor and will get him drafted.

Tough one because he's had big time accuracy issues until this season.

Romo was never less than a 59% passer and that was his first year as a starter.

I think new Offensive Coordinator Dan Enos has done wonders this year with Brandon, the payoff really being evident as of late. Somebody will draft him and at worse he ends up a decent back up.
He kinda reminds me of Alex Smith when he was good.

I'm liking this kid more and more as a mid-round prospect.

In his final home game against MSU, he went 30/43 for 406 yards and a school record 7 TD passes. Carried that Arkansas team offensively and was clutch in the final drive in what should've led to the game-winning FG, but it was blocked. He was the best QB in the SEC this season. Guy is a gamer and a good athlete who can run. Also has decent size at 6'2 210 lbs. Three-year starter in a pro-style offense, etc.

I am pretty sure Jerry has drafted one player from Arkansas. Felix. I am really looking forward to the draft process heating up this year. I think the team AND the fans need to see that next qb get drafted.
