Someone mentioned something about Quincy vs. Henson, and it got me thinking...

If we had Drew Henson during the 2003 season when the training camp competition was Hutch vs. Carter (with Carter eventually winning) would Henson have won the starting job?

Seems to me that was the only year Parcells was willing to go with a young QB and take a chance because it was his first year. Would he have given the reigns to Henson if we had had him?

No, cuz Hensen hadn't thrown a football in 4 years.

QC was all we had so he went with him.

Yes. Posts like this make me want the Drew Henson zone so everyone can talk about how he got cheated, how he would be a Pro Bowl QB on the Panthers, how the coaching staff ruined his confidence and what ever other obsurdities run through peoples minds.

You're absolutely correct, we need to rid ourselves of everything concerning Drew Henson. There are much more pressing matters in the world of Dallas Cowboys right now that should take precedence over Henson. Seriously, its not like it's the offseason and he is one of the few things Cowboys related bringing in any kind of news.

Seriously though, there is always going to be one thing that is discussed alot on here. If Michael Irvin came out of retirement and signed to play with the Boys, there would be a hundred threads talking about Michael Irvin. If Drew Bledsoe decided to retire, there'd be a hundred more threads. Its called discussing hot topics in the Dallas Cowboys at any given time. The day after a football game during the regular season, I wonder what topic covers the board? If you don't like talking about Drew Henson, either bring up something new, or simply don't read the board until something else happens.

He's just mad because we said yes to TO. I'm surprised it's not JustSayNoToTOAndDH.

ha ha. I hear you. It really is funny the extremities this forum will take Hensen to ...

In the red corner ... NFC Pro Bowl QB Drew Hensen of the Carolina Panthers

In the blue corner ... look at this picture, his throwing motion is horrible.

Honestly, these Drew Hensen posts are getting as laborious as the ten thousand Washington Commanders threads which littered this forum last month.
