The problem with Dak now is that his teammates aren't going to believe he can do it anymore in the playoffs. I think a lot of them were done with him after San Fran last year. This game probably solidified it with everyone else. I am not sure they can afford NOT to move on from Dak now. When we make the playoffs again, someone else has to be under Center at this point.

I think Dak needs to have a little worry in his game this summer. With fans being upset with him, every good play Lance makes, fans will be calling for him to play. Will this affect Dak to make him play better???
Good news is Dak has already stated publicly that he's willing to leave.
So...bye....

Dak stunk it up, and he owned it. And Jerrah should use this in his contract negotiation. If Dak plays hard ball, let him walk (but JJ can't do that, he's too old to start over at QB, and Dak knows that LOL)

But every Cowboys player should all look at themselves in the mirror, because most of them were putrid.

And they should go and let their coaches know those game plans were putrid.

Dak has had more than enough chances in Playoff games to get over his deer in headlights mental issues. We need someone else. It's not rocket science.

Totally agree! If we see them progress in the playoffs, man it would be so funny

I hope there is a QB comp in camp, If they extend DAK then they better be prepared to watch him spot other teams a lead in the playoffs so he can play hero ball in the 2nd half.

JJ would blame MM before he blames Dak. They will extend him. We just need to get him more help on Defense and a run game. If our Defense could stop the run it would have been a different game.

But until Dak and this team wins it all nobody will believe in him. And at this point how can you.

Like it or not, Lance has entered the conversation. Lance will be who everyone (local media) will be watching come mini camp. It’s sad that since everything is agenda driven the Dak media guys are downplaying Lance and the Dak haters media guys are building him up. I for one feel it’s football and Dak has had his chance. It should be an open competition to see who gets extended.

You know we've reached the depths of hell when our only chance is hoping that Trey Lance can be fixed. It seems so easy for other franchises but never for the Cowboys.

not that i have a problem with competition in fact i encourage it but #1 im not sure Lance is it and #2 you really think fans have an impact on jerry and his decision making ? LOL they have very little impact. The brand is alive and well. Game of the week probably 7 or 8 times. Jerry worl is thriving

Probably so, but it ain't happenin', not without an injury. JJ is too old to start over at QB. He ain't got that kinda time. LOL

So, if Dak is going to be the QB at least for the next few seasons, can we bring in an OC/HC who can prepare a game plan to scheme WRs open? On opening drives, other teams have WRs running open, purely by scheme, after watching a week's worth of film and keying on opponent tendencies.

After a week of film, the Cowboys run on 1st down, between the tackles, and throw deep down the sideline to a well-covered receiver.

Dak was putrid, but I contend a better game plan and a better OC would get more out of him and the entire offense in these big games.

Wins it all? Lol. They can't win a single playoff game. Period.

Holy smoke, why the rush to create a soap opera? The dust hasn't even settled after the loss Sunday, and Lance hasn't taken so much as a training camp snap yet.

He won’t have anything to worry about because he’s going to be extended. They’re not going to pay him even more money and then have him compete for the job. Everyone keeps acting acting like the Cowboys got their butts handed to them entirely because of him which is completely ridiculous. No one played well and our defense was terrible! You would have thought Mike Nolan was back. We wouldn’t have won that game with any QB as bad as our defense was.
