Not to say Dak is going anywhere anytime soon but we need to draft a capable backup with future starer potential.

Going off the Bill Parcells QB needs to have to start for him method:

Be a three-year starter
Be a senior in college
Graduate from college
Start 30 games
Win 23 games
Post a 2-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio
Complete at least 60% of passes thrown

I think the best of the guys coming out NOT in the 1st round is:

JAKEHAENER

Be a three-year starter = YES
Be a senior in college = YES
Graduate from college = YES
Start 30 games = YES (38)
Win 23 games = YES
Post a 2-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio = YES
Complete at least 60% of passes thrown = YES

Quote:
"He has proven to play through injury and is always at his best when his team needs him most.

Overall, if Haener were bigger and stronger we would be talking about a sure-fire top-10 pick,"

all for drafting a QB.
i'm all for creating depth and competition at the most important position.

one qb i'm intrigued by is tennessee's hendon hooker.
love his size...and his style of play.
very good arm.
its all about how his recovery is going.
