Who cares, this might be the dumbest stat ever created.....next show me the top 10 QB's who take an arss whupping and do nothing about it...thats what your trying to say "I hate (insert QB here)___ he tries to make it game instead of quiting!"..jesus find a real life villian.

The Cowboys defense was crap in 2024, especially in the games Dak played.

Teams that are behind throw the ball more in an attempt to catch up quickly. This has been a well known stat from the beginning of (football) time. To say Dak placed 12th on the list despite playing just eight games does not illustrate he is a bad QB. It illustrates the Cowboys (3-5 in Dak's starts) could neither run the football nor stop the run themselves. McCarthy didn't even give Rico Dowdle more than a handful of carries until Thanksgiving and, wow, shock, the Cowboys started to have success.

You don't have to look hard on this forum to find Dak hate, but if anyone thinks this is an example of him "sucking" is grasping at straws.

You have to read the fine print.ive never heard ANYONE refer to win % > 95 as garbage time

Just seeing this topic and I agree. If you have a 95% chance of winning (or greater), you’re not throwing the ball anyway… So passing stats would not matter. I can only assume that they mean garbage time as the game seems to be “decided” one way or the other.

Again...garbage time stats never applied only to Dak. Applies to other athletes and sports.

However...I'd lay down a modest bet that Dak seems to have a penchant putting up stats on lesser teams, as well as when the game is out of reach either way.

It might indicate he performs well under no pressure, and not as well under pressure.

Notice my language. Just a hunch...maybe a deep careful dive on the stats to suss it out?
