QB garbage time passing yardage 2025

Keep in mind the Cowboys starting QB missed 9 games last year.

Well it's surprising to see that other quarterbacks are awarded "garbage time yards" because the only quarterback I've ever read about having garbage time yards was Dak.

I thought it was just a stat that was designated for him only. When did the garbage time yards stat start counting?

I'm sure garbage time yards stats had to have started decades ago.

Shut up.

You get your team to garbage time and keep it there by being a bit aggressive ... your QB put you in a good place an dkept you there.

You are complaining that we blew some teams out and kept the foot on the gas? This is not the issue that you are having. Please seek services.

Some years this may have some validity to it but who did the cowboys blow out last year?

Kind of hard to get any real perspective of most of these guys from this since they include both the good garbage time and the bad garbage time.

Dak does stand out though as we know there wasn't any good garbage time and how few games it took him to compile his stats.

Every QB has a certain amount of garbage time. Goff hanging 50 on the Packers is way different than Dak putting 50 on the Giants.

Strange stat. It works on both sides. A QB whose team blows out a lot of opponents is going to rack up garbage time stats just as the QB who gets blown out a lot. I guess this stat shows which QB played in the fewest close games?
