Woah. I was just coming to post this. Weird.

Data is fairly telling, too.

Hard to imagine that there's such a huge difference between the top and bottom of that list.

I was referring to Dallas' average ranking.

Hmm, well you can see the season we received the most calls was when Kitna played most of it, so while there may be some bias, you could argue Tony brings a good deal of it on himself being so mobile and shifty.

I'd say that's not a great argument. Either it's roughing, or it isn't. Romo's mobility should not mean he's less likely to be roughed. Especially because he rarely crosses the LoS.

Anyone know if a sack is counted as a "QB Hit" in this list?

Cam is thought of as a mobile QB and he is in the top 5 on each list and #1 overall. Tony does not get call for what ever reason.

I agree there is a bias against calling RTP against Dallas Cowboys opposition. I've seen many blatant hits that draw the penalty around the league that don't get called when Romo is the QB. The cause of this bias is uncertain but I absolutely believe it exists in this instance. Refs don't want to protect Romo for whatever reason. If I were Jerry I'd be demanding an explanation from the league and put together a tape of all the times Romo has been illegally hit without a penalty.

If he whines enough they'll probably have to change their tune and start protecting Romo.

For the zebras to call roughing the passer, the line actually has to hold them defense long enough for Romo to get rid of the ball...

I never thought they protected Aikman either. Do you remember how many times he had a bloody chin?

between the many bogus offsides calls on Ware; to the many holds on ware that are never called; to the RTP's on Romo that are never called

Anyone claiming that there is not some kind of bias against the boys by the Refs are morons. WHether they realize it or not it is there

I've always thought Romo gets screwed when it comes to roughing the passer.

I can't find particular highlights, but some of the no calls against him are outrageous.
