Louisville has added a talented quarterback to the roster for next season. Ryan Osiecki, a 6-4, 210-pound quarterback from Milford (NY)

Just did a little research on this "stud"... turns out Nors is just being Nors again...

First off, the kid is from New Haven, Connecticut... so once again, Nors is riding the jock of a kid from his general geographic area, as he's done so often...

Second, he's a freakin' WALK-ON, not even a scholarship player at the U of L... one of two walk-on QBs they've signed...

And among the players he's gonna have to beat out down the line is another of Phil Simms' sons, Matt...

He also failed to qualify academically, and had to do a year at a prep school... when asked about that, he demonstrated that he's really not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, saying:

"“If I could do it over again, I would’ve gotten straight A’s (in high school),” Osiecki said. “Coming out of high school, it’s all about grades."

So, either he's too dumb to pull the grades, or he had the capability to pull straight A's, and just jacked around... if the former, is he smart enough to grasp and run an offense as complex as Louisville's?? And if the latter, did he suddenly discover discipline??

I looked up his numbers for his last 2 seasons in high school, and even if he HAD pulled straight A's, he probably wouldn't have been a highly recruited prospect... he played 20 games in those 2 seasons, and averaged all of 180.8 yards per game passing... he also threw 21 ints in thos 20 games, against 39 TD passes... that's a LOT of ints...

He had 249 completions in 409 attempts, a 60.9 per cent completion rate... he was 8th in the state of Connecticut in passing yards per game as a junior, 6th as a senior...

So, he wasn't even one of the five best QBs in Connecticut... LOL...

Leave it to Nors to start touting a kid who will almost certainly be redshirted this year, just because he happened to grow up in New England...

I scout Regionally - and give you the gems 4 years in advance:)

Heard the same about Santos in 2003/04. He only went on to win a Peyton and smash records.

Google Osiecki's dads resume:) Kid played in Shelton, CT and dad at Ansonia with NFL pedigree.....
