QB next gen stats

Interesting stuff here. Things like expected completion percentage vs actual - based on receiver separation, length of throw, etc.. Is the QB completing more or less than expected based on circumstances?

Average yards to the sticks - whether the passer is throwing beyond them or relying on short tosses and YAC.

Not a lot of surprises as far as who is doing well and who is not (there are a few) but stats like these take away a number of potential excuses because those things are factored into the calculation.

Where were these stats when I was young?

Not sure I'm going to buy into the expected completion percentage. How do they account for different receivers? Throwing to a covered Megatron vs throwing to a covered Swaim - same length, same separation, same expected result?
