Why do we need a 35 year old Brady???? Brady last won a SB 13 months ago. Brady has been to 9 SB's & won 6 of them!!! Brady will be incredibly motivated. Also Brady plays in the outdoor elements of Foxboro...... we all saw how Dak did last year playing at Foxboro.... which Brady bested him in. And for the stat lovers Brady threw 3 times as many TD's last year to picks. 24/8. That is better than Prescott at 30/13. For the non stat lovers in Brady's so called down year he went 12-4.... Dak went 8-8. Dak went 8-8 with a much much much better supporting cast. Easier schedule. And no team injuries.
It will be funny when Dallas pays Dak $40,000,000. Amari Cooper will be gone, Randall Cobb will be gone. Maliek Collins will be gone, Byron Jones gone. Quinn gone. Bennett gone. LVE has neck problems. The NFC East will be better this year. The schedule will be tougher. Dallas will have at least some injuries this coming year..... probably a couple of O lineman. Dallas may finish in last place. The Defense will be total garbage. Lawrence has chronic shoulder problems. Smith still has a limp when he runs. Zeke has a lot of mileage on him at such a young age. Dark days ahead.
Everyone thinks Mike is going to save us with his magical coaching. Who is to say that Mike is better than Garrett? None of us on this board are qualified to make that judgement. A lot of you say that Garrett sucked as a coach.... but none of you can explain why. His in game coaching was actually pretty good overall. I love how a lot of you blame the coach when a player does not execute a play.... Here is a novel idea, maybe the blame should go to the player.
I would rather have Tom Brady for 2 years at $60,000,000 than Dak for 5 years at $200,000,000. And have a couple of draft picks after I tagged and traded the greedy average QB who spouts it is all about the team. Talk is cheap guys. Actions speak louder than words.
