I got this list from a Peter King MMQB article. It's Pro Football Prospectus's top 10 ranking for QB pressures last year.

1. Dwight Freeney, Ind., 33
2. Julius Peppers, Car., 32
3. Kyle Vanden Bosch, Tenn., 29
4. Leonard Little, St. Louis, 26
4. Aaron Schobel, Buffalo, 26
6. DeMarcus Ware, Dallas, 25
7. Aaron Kampman, GB, 24
8. Charles Grant, NO, 21
8. Jason Taylor, Miami, 21
10. Rosevelt Colvin, NE, 20

What? No Merriman? :laugh2:

I'd like to see DWare getting into 30's this season.

The impressive part of that is how rarely we blitzed, and how little help Ware had from his linemates.

Of course, if the statistics we've seen calculate a blitz solely as "More than 4 players rushing" then Ware was rushing alot more with only the three down linemen. It's impressive no matter what.

rather not. the leader was freeney who had 33 and only 5 sacks. if its 2nd and 10 for the opposing team, i'd rather it turn into 3rd and 16(sack) than 3rd and 10(pressure). but pressures can cause picks but we only have 1 guy(roy) who really knows how to catch a ball out of the secondary.

Yeah but Peppers had 13 sacks with 32 QB pressures so if DWare can achieve similar numbers, I'd be very happy.

Whats even more impressive is how often he wasn't rushing the passer because he dropped in coverage. None of those other guys had that responsibility.

He is one of only two LBs on the list, that is true.

Maybe the OP could post some clarification of what they're using as pressures? Are these pressures that did not result in a sack? If so, I can see why a Merriman wasn't there.

Sacks and pressures combined would be nice to see.
