QB Sneak?

What is the problem? Why will this team not run a sneak?

I was listening to one of DC's radio recordings the other day and the guys on radio were saying that Dallas refuses to run a QB sneak.

My question is, how in the hell can you refuse to run a sneak and then run an option.

I've seen so many QBs get absolutely destroyed running the option. How can you be scared to run a play that is practically over before it begins and at the same time put your QB in a position to run right into a player like Suggs or Lewis?

I guess this could have gone in a Garrett thread but what the hell.

We refuse to run slants, comebacks, and other easy, staple passing routes. We refuse to stick with screens even when they work. We refuse to stick with the running game even when its working.

I kept waiting for the screen and the QB sneak last night...never saw one. Garrett seems to forget what works. He needs to be gone ASAP after this season.

Exactly. Most teams find something that works on a somewhat consistent basis and make it a staple of their attack. That then becomes their offensive identity. In the 90s, it was the lead draw to Emmitt, for the Skins under Gibbs, it was the counter trey, etc.

We have no identity on that side of the ball.

we refuse to do a lot of things. still one game left for a possible trick play.doubt it though. i think the screen was garretts trick play.
