Tony Romo didn’t miss games unless he was injured.

Actually INJURED. Structurally INJURED.

A broken collarbone. A herniated disk. A broken bone in his back. A broken thumb.

Hell, Romo broke his ribs and punctured a lung and returned to the game!!! AND led the team to a comeback road win!!! The guy was was as tough as they come, which we all know.

Dak, of course, has never missed a game. Does ANYONE question that this kid has that same kind of toughness? He’s a physical SOB who puts his body on the line whenever needed. He’s hobbled around plenty of times only to return the very next series. A GAMER who possesses the “win at all costs” mentality.

We’ve been spoiled by tough QBs. Troy Aikman was also as tough as they come, playing through stuff that guys probably shouldn’t play through.

But Aikman, Romo and Dak all understood that the Captain of the ship has to be that way. When his teammates see that, it inspires them to play through minor injuries as well. It’s inspiring. Leadership 101.

So, anyways... I was just wondering...

What is Carson Wentz’s MAJOR injury that will surely cost him 1 game at the very least, and possibly the season?

(And this Sunday night game at the Rams is basically an elimination game for Philly. HUGE game, of course.)

Sometimes he just gets a little sore, a little tight, and so we're just going to rest him today and evaluate him further," Doug Pederson said.

I guess QBs can’t all be tough guys. That’s what makes the tough ones stand out.

Thank you for being YOU, Carson!!!

I don't think anyone on the planet thinks Dak's problems are his toughness.

Wentz has hurt his clitoris and they think it might be season ending.

It’s a joke you big *** baby

I mean it’s the truth just in a joking delivery
Yeah, it’s the truth if you only take his inaccurate passes into consideration. Same as with any other QB, including Wentz.

Dak’s completing 68.2% this season.

The point of this thread is what? To guess an injury?
I took it to be a thread making fun of Wentz, and stating that he's a wuss, who wouldn't be worthy of leading the Cowboys. If his injury is in fact, a matter of your run of the mill back stiffness that I've worked through for years, I agree....Though to be fair, I'm sure it's something that playing football could cause serious injury to.

Cool dude

we have a rich history of tough QBs....
*Dandy...toughest of'm all.
*Roger...laid it all out there.
*Danny...he'd hang in the pocket and take the shots...I still remember him getting in a fight with a deadskin at Rfk....and Eugene Lockhart joking with him on the sideline...shadow boxing...LOVED 11.
*Troy...laser focus, laser accuracy and tough as leather.
*Tony...snake bit for sure but never questioned his gutts.
*Dak...drives me nuts sometimes with his inaccuracy...but his fight always brings me back...he just keeps gettin up off the matt...love his heart.

You’re right that it could be something that could get worse by playing football.

But their season is on the line Sunday night. There’s no tomorrow if they lose.

As the QB and “leader” of the team, you need to also be one of the toughest SOBs on the team. Your teammates will take notice.

Wentz is a young man who has all offseason to heal. Is it “smart” to play football through a stiff/tight back? Of course not. It could get worse.

Just like it’s not “smart” to dive head first towards 2 defenders... but on 4th down, the tough guys do it anyways.

Assuming the injury isn’t structural and isn’t more serious than the Eagles are letting on, Wentz is proving that he’s NOT one of the tough guys. That matters.

Do you think they rushed him back?
