Two QBs have thrown TD passes in both an AFC Championship game and a NFC Championship game. Name them. Hint is that one completed the second part of the feat on this day in history.

Without really thinkign about it and doing ZERO research, I'm gonna say Rich Gannon.

ANd I don't even know if he played for an NFC team.

"January 23, 1994
Bernie Kosar becomes the second quarterback to throw a touchdown pass in both the AFC and NFC Championship games."

I saw that on the NFL.com site. Actually, it read "only quarterback" instead of "second quarterback" earlier in the day when I first saw it. I thought it was wrong because I was certain Craig Morton had done it and that is correct. Both Morton and Kosar have accomplished the feat. Both did it in the NFC for Dallas and Morton got his AFC one in Denver while Kosar got his in Cleveland.

I was not 100% on Morton but knew he was in the Championship game in Dallas and then Denver. Kosar I was positive.

lol....I meant Morton. I'm always confusing him and Griese as "that QB who came before Staubach and went to the Broncos and then lost to Dallas in the Super Bowl"

No idea why.
