I really dont understand this draft class and way people are ranking them.

Lawrence is clearly number 1 I don't think he is can't miss like some say but he is good

Wilson I like a lot but feel he is very raw especially for pick number 2

Jones had a ton of talent around him but did nothing to make me think he would be much better than Jimmy G from rumors I've heard 49ers are after Jones

Fields just doesn't impress me as a passer enough to go really high

Lance is everything you want skill wise but very raw and raw from a small school and people are saying top 5 I'm thinking 2nd to 3rd round I had a higher grade on Dak coming out

Trask I love this kid especially if I can get him in the second round so he ain't mobile neither is Brady or Payton or a bunch of other greats. If he was there when the Cowboys pick in second round I might would take him let him back up Dak and maybe flip him for a high 1 in a few year I know other needs but would be tempting.

Mills and Mond are two mid round guy who could be developed into something

I guess the need is so big that teams are really gambling on some of these guys or trade for Darnold.

Zach Wilson is not raw at all.

He has the most advanced skill out of all of these QBs including Lawrence.

Jones isn’t mobile enough and he doesn’t have a big arm.. Everything else is top notch.

Fields is Dak with a better deep ball and running ability. He’s not going to be a prolific passer but he’ll get the job done.

Lance.. My QB 3... You give him the Mahomes rookie treatment for a year.. Holding a clipboard and learning.

There are several things in play here.

First off, there is more media trying to get noticed about this draft and more mock draft guys than there are players in the draft.

Lawrence was the most talked about HS QB since Peyton Manning and so many sold him so hard they don't want to admit he's got some warts. He might be the next Peyton Manning or the next Eli Manning and have to match him with a great D to win anything.

The other part of this is the lacking of other players/positions to tout except the 3 WR's and Pitts. There's no D player that really sends anyone so the QB's get most of the love and 2 of the 3 best WR's didn't even play in 2020.

And to add fuel the fire, they've got the young gun QB's that are already the toast of the NFL. This is the next batch. And there are some potential Rosen's and Trubisky's in this batch.

Unlike Prescott, the QB's stepping in for JAX and NYJ are going to have much more of a struggle than he did but then he was picked to be the 3rd string QB.

Biggest challenge for these new young guns will be staying healthy, they just think they got hit in college.

QBs with upside on rookie deals. I am sure plenty of teams are happy not to dedicating 20% of their cap to average QBs. Big picture.

3 of the 5 QB’s will most likely be mediocre at best in the NFL. Just based off the history.

Most important position on the field leads to some crazy behavior by GMs

The qb market has gone full Robert Downey Jr, and a bunch are long in the tooth. It’s really not rocket science.

QB's are always over valued by QB hungry teams. It happens every year.

Ryan Leaf
Jason Campbell
Matt Leinart
Rex Grossman
Byron Leftwich
Brady Quinn
Vince Young
J.P. Losman
Tim Couch
JaMarcus Russell

Were all first round picks. A lot of people has to like that player in order for him to be a first rounder. Let that sink in.

I get what you’re saying and mostly agree except for the Lawrence take. If Lawrence could have declared fresh out of high school, he would have been drafted somewhere. There's no draft in the past 25 years that Lawrence wouldn’t have been a top-3 pick in.

By Raw I mean he doesn't have many college starts
