Fans and media are the arbiters of impartiality. Got it. Interesting take. And for the record, Wade got treated poorly here, but I was never a fan of his hiring. Parcels put Jerry in a tough situation on that one. Speaking of which, Parcrls was a hall of fame coach I have tremendous respect for who I never wanted in Dallas (though I ended up really enjoying him while he was here). There goes the thoughtless homer criticism that's always trotted out and never actually proven to be accurate. The people you like to collectively call "homers"criticize the team. They just don't criticize everything about it, blindly.

The reality is that most fans are reactionary and irrational and base their like or dislike for a coach off of won-loss record. This is why you guys were falling all over yourselves explaining to me how much Jason Garrett had learned about football in 2014. And then subsequently how much he forgot again in 2015. So much for not having homer vision.

You base your beliefs on one single season and ignore the facts that are there for anyone to see if you open yours eyes. Jerry even admitted he was in "training" after the 2013 season but you tried to spin that. If Romo is healthy we will probably have a good season this year but I do not believe Garrett has what it takes to lead us to a SB victory. You will blame that on the defense for the umpteenth time. If Romo gets hurt it will be a pitiful season. Garrett proved last year he is incapable of winning with a backup even though one of those backups went to a lesser team and won with much less time in the system.

Look, I believe we agreed to disagree on this a long time ago. I will not change your mind nor will you change mine. I am unable to make post like this in the fan zone so I made it in the appropriate forum. You can argue and debate this to the cows come home but will never change my mind. Only Garrett can do that. Garrett fooled me slightly in 2014 but opened my eyes again to his incompetence last year. Without a search function, it is hard to find how you posted about coaching pre--Garrett so I can only take your word for it. I can count on one hand with no fingers the number of disparaging post I remember from you since you have been a mod. I am not saying you have not made any but you sure seem to rush to the defense of anything negative no matter how based in reality it is.

Again I agree to disagree!!! It really does not bother me if you feel differently than me. If you feel I can't express my opinion(given opinions are like buttholes and ALL stink, yours and mine both), then I have a problem. Your opinion does not outweigh mine, not by a long shot. Now you do have the power here given you are a mod but I have not read any rules saying I can't have a differing opinion at least not in this section of the forum. I do however like you and admire your dedication to this site and have stated that ,many times and do so again. So I say peace my friend. Hopefully Garrett will change my mind for good over the next few years although I highly doubt it. Again, I say PEACE my friend as at least we can both agree we are both diehard Cowboys fans which is the tie that binds!!!! We will both be Cowboy fans whether Garrett is here for another 40 years or is fired next season!!!
