Trust me bud. I'd rather WIN Holiday Bowl trophies year after year, than win a meaningless conference championship, then get EMBARRASSED 2 straight years, on primetime TV, by the likes of Boise State and West Virginia.

That is embarrassing in itself. You would rather win a meaningless exhibition game than your own conference? Apparently Mack Brown agrees with you. Boise St. and West Virginia were ranked higher than UT and made it to a BCS bowl game. Not everyone can play a 5-5 Iowa team basically at home in the Alamo Dome and pound there chest afterward but if that makes you feel better who am I to stop you.

I just stumbled on the thread, maybe it had something to do with the title of the thread. If I were on the bandwagon I would have picked a better week to hop on don't you think?

Regarding the win I think UT outplayed and out coached OU but we have all but talked about the game in this thread other than some fist pumping. I'm normally fairly reasonable and far from a homer but I don't appreciate classless mudslinging either.

congrats on your conference championships and subsequent loses in bowl games. last time i checked the real price is winning a national championship, not conference championships, it that was the case the braves would be the best team ever in baseball. you post about the title of the thread, and as the pictures and highlights show, quan owned that sooner on that play, its nothing false about it. get over it and move on with your life, you need to get some class like rowdy.

How do you know? You guys have played scrub teams the entire year.

Just be glad OU runs a Hurry up offense because without the busted coverages it presented the RRS would've been a blow out.

If you haven't noticed lately when OU has to play the NCAA's ELITE teams they become a lot like Mizzou, Okie State, Cal, Tech, and all these other schools who can't play a lick of defense but have dominate offenses.

Venables is a joke too. Hes had 3 groups of players and all 3 groups have completely sucked on D.

At some point it aint the players.

Please dont ever get rid of him OU. PLEASE.

I expect OU to win out. Their No Huddle offense virtually makes them upset proof now and the teams they will be playing dont have enough talent to spread to the defensive side of the ball.

OU should score at will.

But if they play a team in a bowl game that can match their athletes they will get romped because they aren't used to being stopped, and when they do get stopped, and their defense still cant stop anyone, they will fold.
