I'm sorry but Roethlisberger, Newton, Eli, and Flacco shouldn't be ahead of Romo after 4 games. Some of the others are questionable as well. This list is through the first 4 games. Romo is like 4th on QBR and is 13th here. How did they arrive at these rankings?

1. Philip Rivers
2. Peyton Manning
3. Matt Ryan
4. Andrew Luck
5. Aaron Rodgers
6. Drew Brees
7. Ben Roethlisberger
8. Matthew Stafford
9. Cam Newton
10. Joe Flacco
11. Russell Wilson
12. Eli Manning
13. Tony Romo
14. Alex Smith
15. Jay Cutler
16. Colin Kaepernick
17. Tom Brady
18. Andy Dalton
19. Austin Davis
20. Nick Foles
21. Kirk Cousins
22. Carson Palmer/Drew Stanton
23. Ryan Tannehill
24. Brian Hoyer
25. Matt Cassel
26. Ryan Fitzpatrick
27. Geno Smith
28. Jake Locker
29. Josh McCown
30. Derek Carr
31. EJ Manuel
32. Chad Henne

I looked at it earlier....you have been doing this too long to give this crap any merit. It a popularity contest with very little well researched numbers and some guessing.

can we please write theses kind BS ranking off for the well informed and leave the water cooler crap for those modist to fair weather blow holes.....lol

we know better than this.

Romos rating has been 60.8, 93.5, 116.8, and 137.4. we all know he started the year struggling with conditioning of his back and we can see he is playing better as he gets healthy so hopefully the next 4 games we will see him rise to where he rightfully deserves. but you cant just throw away that first game and it hurts his production rate

plus dudes like Eli and Ben will forever get golden pass no matter how bad they are although Ben is playing better this year than last but that can all change. except for the free pass part I mean

Will people please stop talking about QBR, just let it die. We have QB rating, it works fine. Romo is 9th in the NFL in QB rating, after a slow start (after coming off of back surgery).

If he can continue to play at this level, he will eclipse a lot of the QBs ahead of him.

I don't care if he was 1st, it's a silly stat ESPN made up trying to be relevant.
Yeah, it can only measure team success...That,s what's lost here. There are so many measures to take into account. It.s very hard to comprise what is truly a QB's individual effort. if you want to know where Tony truly ranks..look at 3 to 5 years. He is about 95 to 98 that's good enough to win.
