Football intelligence, pocket awareness, accuracy. I couldn't care less about size or the ability to throw the ball through a brick wall. Montana was about the best there ever was.

absolutely. Of the QBs in the conversation as GOAT, NONE OF THEM are physical marvels.
Peyton Manning, Montana, Brady
that is why I have no time at all for anyone stupid enough to drool over a cannon arm or big and fast and strong
It is what is between the ears that makes a great QB
And there its about being a winner; and judgement and instincts
You listen to former team mates of both Montana and Roger and how they would have pretty much run through brick walls if they had said they needed to do it to win. And they always believed they had a chance no matter how bad it looked.

Spot on, leaders that step up when they're needed.

I feel this could turn into an oxymoron. Especially if he's not playing well and the locker room could feel aggrieved that your QB is taking the pie, but isnt performing.
Yes, but is it important. And where does it stand in all the attributes?

1. Durability - The best ability is availability

2. Accuracy - nothing else matters if you can’t hit the receivers

3. Intelligence - Make the best decisions possible

4. Character - Team Leader and off field saint

The rest is luxury second tier stuff. Matt Ryan had a noodle arm. Peyton Manning was a statue. Russell Wilson was short. Drew Brees was all 3.

Well I didnt see much mobility from Brady. It's the problem with the premise of your question. You're never going to overcome every weakness, so you take your choice and try and overcome the weaknesses through the team (ala Goff with his spits against pressure).

There is no perfect QB, however, for Cowboy's fans we want at least a couple of those qualities other than Height and being a great Locker room presence as they done seem to being much for us atm.

I understand your points. But it wasn’t the initial question, what attributes and what order? I didn’t give my order. But it would be accuracy and then intelligence. Leader ship, then mobility.

Ok, i'll go...

Accuracy
Intelligence
Durability
Mobility
Arm strength
Locker room , team player
height

That sounds a bit like Drew Brees (well accuracy and short)

There's enough coaches to work on the rest of the offense, I dont care if everyone hates the QB so long as they are where they're supposed to be for his accurate throws.

I do think poise is important and we may be suspect on stretching the field so we're playing a kind of WCO.
