As. A fan of this organization it is very heartbreaking everytime the game is on the line and the same thing kills us . I dont understand how these coaches prepare our quarterbacks week in and week out. We need to really look at this position. I like romo alot I really do but I just dont think he is the right fit for the cowboys any longer .orton is just a back up thats it and him and romo practicing together is a reflection on the field with the late drive killers. We need to bring in a quarterback with confidence couarge plays the quarterback position with swagger someone that can lead this team. Im just speaking a little on my mind speak on how u feel

Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady have thrown 4th quarter interceptions before that have lead to loses and don't practice with Romo...o_O

For the most part, all QBs are bad in these situations. The Cowboys have to find a way to avoid playing in so many close games. Good teams have very little need for game winning drives.

Another anti-Romo thread. This should have been expected when Orton proved Romo's worth, that the haters would come out of the woodwork.

Do you mean the late drive killers like in this year's Giants, Commanders, and Vikings games?

Oh, not those game winning drives with time running out?

I guess the good ones don't count.

No. He means like the ones in the Denver, Detroit and Green Bay games.

I'd like to say I'm surprised that there are actually people here that don't think Romo had a great season, but alas, I can't.

Detroit? The one with 3 TDs, 0 ints and a 103 qb rating. That really stunk. Not sure what you are talking about unless you mean Detroit 3 seasons ago....that would really be reaching.

Anyway, I see you selected games that we scored 48, 34, and 30 points in. Hardly offensive failures by any stretch.
But yes, especially the end of the Green Bay game was disappointing.

The Denver game was one of the best played games by a Cowboy QB in team history, so someone would have to out of their mind to use that a bad QB game.
Anyone would take 5 TDs, 1 int and a 140 QB rating. Most QBs would never play that well even once in the entire career.

But yes, that GB ending stunk. FWIW, losing the GB game made no difference. Losing the Washington game, however, would have eliminated us.

Oh well, I'm tired and cranky.
We can all agree that 8-8 sucks.

I see so many people who say Romo isn't the right QB so then who is? Name them, not just names pulled out of their arse, but realistically. Lot of complaints but no solutions
