Queen - Live Aid 1985

We were at a friends stag party that day and through the night.

They had the concert on a big screen in the house, people would filter in and out checking out bands throughout the day. It was a good time.

Freddie knew how to put on a show, his rapport with the audience was something else -- they really did love him, shame really, little did he know that he would be very sick very soon.

There were a lot of great acts during those two shows, London and Philadelphia, i remember Phil Collins started in London and ended up playing into the night in Philadelphia, cool stuff.

this is considered the greatest live performance ever by a lot of people, and i agree with that opinion

saddest thing of all about Live Aid was that it changed absolutely nothing. 26 years later and nothing has changed in Africa; and anything its worse.

Saw Queen in 1980....simply Fantastic.

Mercury has few peers.
