comp picks dont work that way,
1st you have to say, take the players you signed in free agency;
a. igor ollansky, b. keith brooking
2. now, add up players you lost in free agency;
chris canty, tank johnson, joe ot/og to miami, burnett, zach thomas (zach didnt sign for much money, so might not get anything there)
3. then you compare the salaries your free agency guys you lost to the salaries of players you signed, then you subtract that,
4. as i understand it, if keith davis signs with someone then we get another comp pick with the comp pick for canty, at least thats what adam our salary cap guru said;
so right now, adam said, we should get like a 3rd for canty, and have to wait to see if we get anything for burnett;
hope that helps you somewhat, but main thing just ask adam when he has the time
