Question about fines

I know that the organization can fine players for missing practice, fighting, and what not. But I got to thinking today, can the organization fine players for whatever they want, hit em where it hurts, in the pocketbook.

Every penalty = 1000$ fine

If you cant coach it out of them, then fine their undisciplined butts.

I don't know, Flozell would be in the poor house.

I would think the players union would be against fines for penalties....I would make em run wind sprints til they puked, but then you can't do that either because players are so soft these days....you run em a little and they fall over dead.
