Question about GMs

Would any other GM allow a coordinator who is this bad to continue this long? Im looking around the NFL and cant see a single GM who would let this crap continue week to week. We deserve better than this.
Would any other GM continue to ignore fixing your defense?

Would any other GM trade your best defensive player, a week before the season starts for future picks, and the expect your defense to compete.

Our entire Defense during camp was built around Micah, some how this is the DC's fault???

I have been a fan of this team for lots of years and I must say, this last 30 years has taken alot of the fun out of it since Jimmy got ran off. I cant stand the the way this team has been run. And I just dont enjoy watching it anymore. It ain't the same.

There's already been firings across the league. Jerry won't do it because he would lose face and it would be admitting the fans were right again. Nearly all of us knew hiring Eberflus was a stupid move and the defense would suck because of it. A few here tried the usual sunshine pumping, what ifs, and gaslighting, but most of us knew.

please be patient. Jerry says we're right around the rim and Stephen likes our guys.

Dale Hansen recalled one of his most memorable moments on live television.

“I said this to Jerry Jones, one of my favorite moments in television in my 50 years or so, 41 in Dallas … I look at him and said, ‘Can you name one team in any sport based on your record that would hire you to be the general manager? ” Hansen said.

According to Hansen, Jones answered yes. When Jones was pressed to name one, there was a period of dead air on live TV. Hansen then continued, “That’s my point. You cannot name a single team in any sport that would hire you to be their general manager, and yet you insist on being the general manager of one of the most iconic sports franchises in all of sports.”

When Hansen said he stood up to thank Jones for appearing, he extended his hand. Jones allegedly slapped it away before walking off set.

I saw that. Hansen is my hero for this. It's more evidence of my theory that the only thing motivating Jerry is fan spite. I don't think even money has anything to do with it anymore. Just spite the fans because we don't worship this narcissistic monster.

Spite and ego. He is terrified of how he would see himself if he publicly admitted he's not the best man for the job by hiring a real GM. It's sad, really, to know that a person can be that weak — to have their identity defined by that need for validation.

I’ve wondered that as well.

Jerry is digging his heels in more than ever to spite his naysayers.

Jerry & family don’t need any money. It kills me when people think that it’s only about money.

They are just clueless on building a championship roster.

Jerry Dumbo GM Jones let Monte Kiffin and Mike Nolan finish the year. Eberflus is a brown nose recycle. He is not going to fire him mid season. That would prove he is what he is Jerry DUMBO GM Jones.

Our so called GM hasn't even fielded a low college defense. So how is he even considered a GM or even got the job? I'll answer my own question. He owns the team. Talk about the original "true" definition of a DEI hire

What do the Yankees have to do with the 30 year Jerry drought?…..Actually, they’ve won 5 WS during that span with the last one in 2009.
Most of the World Series Games were at the tail end of the Dallas Super Bowl period. If you don't see a comparative value there, then you are definitely a Biblical prophet.

1996
1998
1999
2000

2009

Then their well went dry.

You have to be explained a similar draught calendar in New York.

To be a prophet one has to be 100% correct!

This GM cares more about his way and profit over winning at any cost.

I'm sure Howie wasn't happy to see Wentz struggle, but instead of doubling down, he traded him.
I'm sure also he didn't want to can the coordinators after 1 year, but the team was *** after they lost their original coordinators when they were offered HC gigs.
I'm sure Snead wanted Goff to work, but when his coach says they need an upgrade, he trades Goff and picks for Stafford.

This isn't a Dak comment, but more so of a comment on the GM. Others have to have success or get canned. Jerry can double down all he wants cause he's the owner.
As long as JJ or SJ owns this team, we will need more than a miracle to ever have postseason success.
Just too many other hungrier GMs out there willing to make aggressive moves while our are comfortable sitting out March
I can care less about the season. Its over. Especially not with this defense. Just fire Eberwuss and high school coach or any coach to handle the defense. It just can't be much worst than this.

I remember when fans were stoked for the coaching staff Schottenheimer put together.

Now that it suck’s it’s Jerry’s hires.
I was never happy with either Zimmer or Eberwuss. I knew they were a trainwreck waiting to happen. They should have hired someone from Dan Quinn's staff from the beginning.
