question about Madden 09

since I dont have any of the systems that are compatible, i dont have the game yet. I am just curious, is there an option in the setup mode where you can select the type of turf. Also, does the game allow you to select the color scheme of the turf?

I am asking because of the Smurf turf that Boise St. uses. I know the college game has the blue turf for their stadium. I was just pondering what it would be like to play the game with the Cowboys having the Smurf turf...or even a silver turf with blue lines, numbers, hashes.

I know in real life it wouldnt be practical or probably even acceptable to play on a non-green turf....but for a video game, I bet it would be quite entertaining to have the various options

Im just got a ps3 and am thinkin about gettin madden 09 for it but im not sure of I should because 07 wasnt very good and I heard 0 wasnt much better...I been playin 09 for ps2 but im gettin tired of the lil gliches that ppl use online so it has just been collecting dust lately.

As for the turf...I don't think you can do it. I made a stadium and don't remember seeing an option for turf color. Though it would be pretty sweet.

I haven't gotten it yet for either system, but I played '09 on my bassist's 360 and liked it. it looked great and played great.

agreed using him on slants online is a killer no one has stopped him yet he occasionally breaks a few for 50+yard tds its very nice
