Do y'all think that the media and the players check, not only this message board, but all message boards? Every week when I'm watching a game you can hear the commentators say "the fans are screaming for this", "the fans are screaming for that"!
How else would players know the scrutiny they are under from fans without checking these types of websites?! I think a lot of players come on here discreetly and just see what is being said about them. I know I would if I was a player!
I can't remember who, but a retired player said something along the lines of, "players do pay attention to what media and fans say", even though they deny it.
