Question about NFC playoffs...

ASSUMING we roll Philly and CArolina like we should,(yeah, I know I shouldn't assume especially after today's scare) Wouldn't we play the Minny/Seahag winner? And Green Bay would play the Tampa/Gspots winner? I think that's right: and it SUCKS. Seattle and Minn. are playing much better football than Tampa or the GSpots IMO. :starspin It's still a little early, but all of the other contenders in the NFC have pretty soft schedules from here on out. Also, if we get to that Wash. game and we're 14-1 I hope Wade rests Henry, Newman, colombo, etc.....

My bad: it's been awhile since we've been in this good of a position. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty bummed last year about having to go to Seattle, so I didn't pay ANY attention to the format: but you're right, they re-seed after the wild card round. Man, anything goes in the playoffs, no matter who you're playing. I just think we match up better against tampa or the Giants than Minny or Seattle. Screw it, I'm going to bed, thanks for setting me straight.

Exactly. IOW, if Minnesota (#6) wins, we'll host them, but if Seattle (#3) wins, we'll host the winner of Tampa(#4)/NYG(#5).

if it ended today:

Minnesota [6] @ Seattle [3]

New York [5] @ Tampa Bay [4]

If Seattle wins then Dallas plays either Tampa Bay or New York in the Div rd

If Seattle loses then Dallas gets Minnesota
