Caught only about 20 minutes of it but he was referring to something apparently another local media person said vis-a-vie replacing Romo - I never did hear who they were talking about or what they precisely said. Anyone fill in the blanks for me?

Thanks...

i think randy galloway has been pushing it on espn radio.

I was going to say that I bet he was referring to Galloway's show. He asked the question would fans want to sign Manning and trade Romo.

But he never said he would do it, the team should do it, or that it was even realistic. He said about a hundred times that he was just throwing it out there for discussion. Of course that didn't stop some people from claiming he wanted to do it.

Trading Romo for Eli is idiotic. She-Li has thrown 57 more career INT's than Romo. Romo's numbers are much better. Eli has had a TEAM surrounding him. Romo has had nothing like that. Romo is not going anywhere, nor should he. SHAME ON ANYONE WHO THINKS OTHERWISE!

He was referring to Peyton...

Ahh! My post still holds true regardless. :D Eli is half ********. Romo is the better QB. There! :p: And NO! I would not trade for Peyton. That would be ludicrous.

Who would trade for a 37 year old QB with a neck like a slinky?

Romo is fortunate to have such loyal fans. Too bad Danny White went to so many NFC Title games, performed well in them, but wasn't afforded the same loyalty.

I am a huge Danny White fan. He was excellent and a class act. Romo appears headed to the same fate - a great talent that simply isn't so great that he can overcome the lack of talent or gaps in talent around him.

There is no QB that can overcome what's wrong with this team currently.

I'm afraid you are right, my friend...

Danny White & Tony Romo both are excellent QBs who should/would have won multi SBs if they had a legit supporting cast. Felt bad for White & also bad for Romo. Given Jerry's drafting record (don't bother telling me how much he relies on his scouts & coaching staff) it's unfortunately hard to believe the necessary changes will ever be made. I'm also not certain Jason has yet developed insight into drafting players; after all, he wanted TE Bennet--what a waste. Bennett was drafted because he had potential but he also had a history in college of not working hard. Having talent doesn't mean anything if you don't have a great work ethic. Anyway, just worried that when Romo's NFl career comes to an end, that we will regress and go through number of other so so QBs. Heck we don't even have decent QBs behind Romo with Kitna retiring, etc.

Danny White didn't have a legit supporting cast? Bull****.

Lol, Danny White was a turnover waiting to happen. He had a very good team around him but had no awareness in the pocket.

Lol, Danny White had multiple pro bowlers around him. Dorsett, Hill, Pearson, DuPree etc....... Defensive side also.

It's like clockwork. First, bash Jerry. Then the QB. Then the head coach. Wash, rinse, repeat. Every. Damn. Offseason. Without regard to on-field performance. So dumb.

Pretty consistant. Can't wait for the draft buildup, just to lessen the same ole boring threads.

Martin, Too Tall, Randy White, John Dutton, Benny Barnes, Everson Walls, Dennis Thurman. Poor Danny White being forced to play with all these stiffs.
