I'm sure you've all seen it advertised ad nauseum on NFL Network. Has anyone here bought it?

I want to, but at a cost of $150 it better be darned good.

I just was curious if anyone had any reviews of it.

Thanks in advance!

Never heard of it. What is it supposed to be?

Here's the website and the commercial is on there as well.

https://www.asseenontvnetwork.com/vcc/procede/backyarddrills/216517/

It looks awesome, of course, just a bit expensive.

If you watch the NFL Network at all, you can't help but see the commerical about 10 times per hour.

In addition to being hosted by Parcells, Moose Johnston, Emmitt Smith, Chad Hennings and Darren Woodson are some of the pros featured on it.

Damn, I like Parcells but not enough to shell out $150 for some DVDs.

Does the DVD come with classic sarcasm sound bites, or is Parcells a nice guy? If it's the latter no thanks. But if it's the former....hmmm, tempted.

BTW - Whomever buys the DVD, help a friend out and seed a couple torrents :D

I was listening to the commercial on Sirius this afternoon thinking the EXACT same thing. One of Parcells' strongest points is motivating players ... forcefully if necessary. I doubt he'll be teaching how to ride someone's *** until they produce :D

I'd never seen that commercial until I clicked on that link, but I was just talking to my brother and he's actually in the commercial. A lot of those highlights in the background are of Plano West and he used to play for them. He said he had no idea he was in it, he was just watching TV one night and all of a sudden he saw himself in a commercial.

Tell Bill you're your brother's lawyer and you are seeking thousands in royalties, but you'll settle for a sideline pass.

Remember, you also get the "free" Kicking and Punting DVD with your order. :D

$150 does seem rather pricey though. My wife and I were talking about the fact they never advertised the price during the commercial, so we figured it had to be expensive. On top of that, I wonder how much Parcells actually appears in the lessons. Looks like the former players are doing most all the coaching based on the clips shown during the commercial.

And why am I not shocked that Parcells would devote an entire DVD for special teams?

I'm sure it's a waste of money.

It's strange, too. Bill must have done this as a favor to someone or something because it is very unlike BP to partake in anything like this.

I heard he goes in depth on the Landry rule. If your son doesn't start producing by year three, its time to start looking for another.

That really surprised me as well when I saw the commercial...that was my first thought as a matter of fact.

I wonder if it was done in one day...in a couple of hours. I just don't picture him as being one that would enjoy doing that.

However....it could be that he just loves coaching and feels that he can add something to kids out there. You certainly don't get the feeling that he "loves" it too much during the season, but during the off-season he's probably a totally different guy....he probably got paid quite well for it as well...hence the hefty price.

If your Girl friend isn't producing after year 1 then she should have to start paying for dates and such.
