question about rob bironas and david buehler

1. Kind of a random question. I could be dreaming, but i couldve sworn that Rob Bironas went to training camp with the cowboys back in the day. Can anybody else confirm this? If it wasnt him, then wasnt there some other big name kicker who went to camp with the cowboys?

2. David Buehler. I picked him as my kicker in my fantasy league. Good idea or not? i figured the cowboys would use him in other special teams packages so i thought itd be a good idea for me to get some extra points.

1) Define big time Kicker? THere were few Kickers in the league that came to camp and now are starters. I don't remember Bironas being one of them.

2) Kicker who doesn't score drafted for Fantasy League? Maybe I haven't played in that type of league, but didn't know Kickoffs or Tackles for ST are awared points too. I have won couple of championships, and never did I draft a Kicker, well unless it was my last pick of the draft, even then I prefer picking up later, absolutely not as backup, unless it money league and it costs to drop and pickup FA etc.

The league I'm in you get points for tackles. So it's actually a great idea.

You haven't played in a league with defensive players?

Even if you dont get points for tackles I dont see how I guy who doesnt kick field goals is going to outscore other kickers. He isnt going to get 100 tackles this year.
