I'm enjoying Romo but dont want to be sycophantic or anything. I am wondering if this is a valid observation or I'm seeing things through Romo colored glasses. On the passes to the side, or the flat, sorry I dont know the exact terminology he seems to be much quicker than Bledsoe. You know it's snap, turn, throw to WR who hasnt taken a step from the scrimmage? I just remember previously saying to myself many times, why do they keep trying this play we keep getting stuffed on it. But lately it seems we are getting 5,6 7 yards every time we try it. From the usual Bledsoe-Romo mechanic comparison there doesnt seem to be any particular reason why Bledose couldnt have done this well, but it seems to me Romo is just getting the ball over quicker. I wish I could put a stop watch to it. Maybe from snap to catch with Romo it's 2.9 seconds but with Bledsoe it was 4.2 or something (Im just making that up). But that tiny margin can be all the difference. Has anyone else noticed that, if so what do you think its attributable to?

I think you are refering to the WR Screens we run with TO sometimes. The only difference is really the release of Romo compared to Bledsoe. Romo has a much quicker release.. thus getting it out there faster.

Romo's quicker release gets the ball out there but also wonder about his arm strength. Supposedly his arm strength isn't that great but too many people take arm strength to mean getting the ball deep down field whereas I take it to be how much velocity/speed does Romo have on the ball to get it to his WR faster--particularly necessary in certain kinds of passes.
