Question about the game videos...

anyone know if there is a way to make the video sharper and less blurry??? ive been putting the games on DVD and watching them on my TV and theyre kinda blurry...I can live with it but just wondered if someone knew a way to make the video sharper

Probably not, because of the fact the games are compressed due to file size. Compression reduces quality.

Yeah. Go out and get you a DVR Direct TV. Get the sunday ticket. Record all of the cowboys games. Then you wont have to worry about the image being BLURRY.

Even then the image isn't great. You still get compression artifacts due to the fact that they are compressing them to try and fit all those games on at the same time (along with the regular programs) and it pushes the bandwidth. The quality of the image is really pretty terrible when you start to throw it onto a big screen. But it's passable as long as you watch it on a regular TV, although it's nothing to brag about.

I was being sarcastic. I thought the poster was bashing the fine folks on here that take the time to make the video's for us to download and view them.

If I am wrong on that, then my apology to the original poster.

I was just taking the opportunity to make a comment on the questionable quality of the NFL ST broadcasts.

in no way was I bashing the people that put up the videos...I greatly appreciate them...was just wondering if there was any way to sharpen them up but geuss not...thanks for the info
