Hey y'all,

I am a season ticket holder that will be going to the new stadium for the first time on September 20 against the Giants (I don't live in Dallas anymore so I can't make it to things like preseason games). I was just wondering if anybody knew of a good bar or restaurant inside the stadium that I can take my dad to before the game. If there's not, what do you guys think the best place near the stadium to go to would be?

Thank you.

Club seats? The whole area is like a big restaurant/bar, though they have sectioned off areas that are specifically just bars.

My seats are in the 400 level, I have to wait to get really rich before getting good seats haha...

Are these closed off to just the people with tickets on the club level? Sorry, I've never been inside so I won't know much about the stadium until the season starts but I really want to give my dad a good experience when we go so I need to figure this out...

theres a Hooters just up the street !! :D

Hupperdinks isn;t that far away. Also a sports bar called third base is next door to it.

I dont think the reserved level season ticket holders are allowed to access the club level. I am not positive, but that just my guess. Can any club holders confirm?

okay so i was only partly kidding about the Hooters.

within a few minutes drive of the stadium there are plenty of restaurants
and bars.

along the frontage road of I-30 there is a pappadeauxs (seafood), a steak house called Texas Land and Cattle, Cozymels (mexican food), red hot and blue (BBQ),

also in the neighborhood close is Humperdinks (mentioned earlier), and Cheddars.

north of I-30 along a street called Lamar there are even more places,
Saltgrass (steaks and more), The Trail Dust (steakhouse) along with plenty
of fast food options ( all the usual suspects).

i really need to get my son to drive me thru that area so i can write down
all the places cuz there are so many i cant think of all of them.

there is a bar/grill inside the Rangers Ballpark, Rawlings All American Bar and Grill.

a kind of fun place is Fuzzys Tacos on Abrams in the downtown area.

drive south down Cooper St for more choices. A Chipotle is fairly close.

okay im rambling. i really do need to get a list put together with a little more thought behind it.

if you dont have club seats you dont get in the clubs.

you gotta stay out there with me and all the other riff-raff

ugh that sucks...

I'm from Dallas so I know the Arlington area, but I was just wondering if there was a place for regular fans to eat inside the stadium or if you had to have special tickets like they do in the AAC. Thanks for the help though

Anyone planning on tailgating?

From what I've heard, there are going to be limited tailgating spaces at the official lots, but it might be nice to get a CowboysZone tailgate together if anyone here has access to any of those lots.

I'm going to have to park further away, but I'd be happy to contribute to it if anyone wanted to put one together.

i will be tailgating in Lot 11 for the giants game.

Have you had a chance to scope out the tailgating setup in the pre-season yet?

Does it seem like a pretty good system?

ive been in lot 11, but not for any of the fake games.

it has a lot of tailgating spots ( grassy areas ringing the lot)

looks like it is going to be just fine. heck the blue lot at TS wasnt
a paradise and we had a blast there !

looking forward to being there Sept 20th, night games are always a blast
for tailgating anyway. especially if there is just a slight hint of cooler weather.
