Question about Time Mismanagement

I have not been to Cowboys Stadium yet, so this is for some of you that have been.

I remember some NFL Teams complaining because the play clock is not in line of sight as in other stadiums, but is up toward the top of the stadium in the end zone.

Where is it?

Was Colt McCoy looking at the game time clock or the play clock? Was this why Texas almost blew this game?

I have no idea what the hell Colt was looking at, he said he thought there was 15 seconds left in the game. (was actually 8 seconds if I remember correctly).

Colt almost costed Texas a trip to the NC game, lucky for him they put 1 second back on the clock.

Colt also lucked out that Nebraska choked like a dog on that final drive. Without the kickoff going out of bounds and the horsecollar, no way Colt gets the Horns in FG range.
