I know this thread might get me a couple of :bang2: but it's actually not that bad.

Gimme a min while I throw my bullet proof vest on.

Ok all strapped up.

Now, If V.Butler continues to exceed expectations and keep 'ballin' out would you trade D.Ware at the end of the year for two (2) first round picks which I think we will be able to get.

I'm not saying i'm for it but I don't think I'll be all that pissed off if we did. That would leave us with 4 1st round picks in back to back drafts and maybe we can lock our issues at o-line and saftey (if need be) for the next 10-12 years.

It'd be tempting...but nobody will ever trade two firsts for one player.

Man that vest better be good.

To answer your question.. hmm. Honestly? I'm not even sure. How can you assign an amount of picks to a player like Ware when you're not even sure how the picks you pick would pan out.

ASSUMING we could nab a few excellent OL and perhaps a ball hawking S I don't know why you wouldn't consider it atleast, with Spencer coming on and assuming as you said that Butler shows he can be above average. But realize that most people have a tremendous emotional attachment to our core stars such as Ware/Romo/Witten so you're gonna get killed in this thread.

Good idea! The Chargers should trade Rivers, Colts should trade Manning, Ravens should trade Ngata, Saints should trade Brees....

Horrible comparison buddy!!!

I'm not saying trade Romo for crying out loud. I'm saying lets trade a player like ware in his prime to secure our future up. And I do think someone out there would give us 2 1st like maybe a rex ryan and dan snyder.

Ware would easily be able to get two 1sts. I wouldn't want to do it, but future Hall of Fame players in their prime can get that type of compensation.

DeMarcus is great and I like him as much as any fan. But he's not Lawrence Taylor. There is a reason the Commanders trusted Williams to block him more or less alone last night.

He's an incredible talent but I'd be willing to bet that over the last 3 years he leads the league in inconsequential sacks.
