I consider myself old at 40. Well at least not as old as some of the dinosaurs that lurk this forum.

Bum coached when I was a little kid and let me ask you oldies this?

Is Wade anything like his dad, Coaching wise that is?

yes bum was more fiery than wade, but the family atmosphere came from bum, thats the rub,

sure pro football has to be a family and as a team, but the head coach has to rule sometimes with a iron fist

bum won some games in playoffs, but his son wade has never won a playoff game, why? Think about that, with Buffalo, Atlanta and Denver and now with Dallas Wade has never won a playoff game why?

another thing to think about is this;

wade gives the players off like on mondays and tuesdays, and now friday to sunday evening, does that mean that good ole wade gets off to, doesnt has to work as hard

a fan from buffalo put up on this board a good while ago when wade first became head coach of the cowboys he said he wished us good luck, that the first year would be good because wade is relax, laid back, not hard tasker like some headcoaches, so the players will be given a rest

then the guy went on to say, sometimes in buffalo wade would say like on fridays at lunch, i am going to eat lunch with my wife, but good ole wade wouldnt come back to practices that afternoon

i think some of this is going on, just like a fan posted here about demarcus ware was suppose to be in on film etc, monday but he showed up at a friends house and replied yeah i know we got beat by the cardinals, but wade said we played hard so he gave us the day off, did good ole wade get that monday off too?

that to me shows a true lack of discipline on the team and from the coaches,

Bum > Wade but that is like a back-handed complement.

Bum had a little more fire and was certainly more a celebrity but he too had that "thank-god-he's-not-our-coach" thing going just like Wade. Seemed his attire and hat and being southern sideshow was more important than football. Both lazy coaches.

realize bum said this:

"The Dallas Cowboys might be America's team but the Houston Oilers are Texas' team."

:laugh2:

That really is old.
As someone who might one day be that old (dang, son, 40 is like from the middle of of last century!) do your bones ache and creak in the morning?
Do girls in Playboy seem untouchable by now? Does bedtime now seem like a gooder idea than staying up and listening to the Black Eyed Peas and 50 Cent?

I am axing cause I want to be prepared for senior citizenship.
