Pulled this from Spags article...

Interesting idea lining up Terence Newman and then Tyson Thompson out wide on multiple-receiver sets. Hey, with their speed, all they got to do is run a straight go, and if they get single coverage, who's going to stay with either? Now you do also have to catch the ball, but having shown that, Washington now has to spend time this week practicing against the possibility. Spags

Saw Newman line up out wide, but did anybody see TT? Interesting if true.

yes -- he came in at RB then split out wide.

BP's letting Haley and Payton try out some stuff.

Tyson did have a snap at wide receiver, we mentioned it during the game.

On 3rd and 6, on the final drive, with about 1 1/2 minutes left, we went to a 5 receiver set. Thompson was wide left (bottom of tv screen), Keyshawn was in the slot left...3 receivers on the right...pass went to Keyshawn for the first down. (Nice little push off by Key)

Thanks guys...

I totally missed Tyson being out there. And I think I would've passed out if he had actually got the ball thrown his way.

It is an interesting concept. He'd be lil Joey G. all over again.

If they ever do throw Tyson the ball, I just hope the kicker isn't playing safety because Tyson would never get by him.
