Do you think Terrell Owens should risk playing this week?

i would prefer him sit and let his hand heal so he will be able to rock n roll against the eagles.

it would also give valuable playing time to hurd, rector, and crayton.

thoughts?

i think yes and no. no meaning wouldn't want him to get hurt in a game we should be able to win with or without him. yes meaning he can use all the time he can get with bledsoe. plus it could be his warmup game for philly

Honestly, I don't think this team should take ANY game for granted. Winsin the NFL don't come easy regardless of who you play. That being said, I say if T.O. is ready then turn him loose. Besides, I need the fantasy points (lol).

Is there a true "risk" to him by playing?? I thought if the plate was in, nothing was at risk. He just has to see if he can deal with the pain.

IMO he needs to be in game playing shape for Philly. I wish that they had a little more time to work on their rapport going into the Philly game, and the Tennessee game is the last chance to get that in a game. If he can go, I'd play him.

Yes, he could cause some serious matchup problems, which would allow Bledsoe to get the ball to Witten or Glenn or Crayton. If Owens is on the field he will most likely draw a double team, leaving Glenn in single man, and Reynaldo Hill isnt a good CB from what I've heard over at gotitans.com, so this would be a serious advantage for the offense.

No, because IMO we dont really need him, and dont want to risk he re-aggravating his hand. He should be 110% if he sits this one out, and good to go against PHI, which is a much more important game for him to be in.

Your right once the plate was put in there is no risk.

No. Be healthier for Philly who is a division rival and a serious threat.

I say he should definately be in if he can be effective.

If Parcells thinks that he can preform better than Hurd even at 80% than by all means put him in.

With a plate reinforcing his hand he can't make it any worse. All up to how well he plays.

I leave it up to the player...

btw, there's a risk everytime you step out on that field, esp. in the NFL, where the hits keep on coming, for all we know, TO could re-injure his finger wk. 10

As several have said with the plate the chance of injury is minute,it is more a question of can he be effective while dealing with the pain.

I think he will play and be effective.

He should play. Even if he never gets the ball thrown to him, he is valuable. The Titans will have to cheat a safety to his side.

I agree this game need not to be taken lighly and we need to come out all guns blazing... I think if TO can play then get him on the field he needs the time to gel with Bledsoe ..There timing is not down and needs work would you all agree?

Cowboys should win this game 31 10 ....

He should play, but limit the type of routes he is to catch passes from. No slants or inside cuts, send him on streaks/outroutes/quick hitches/post corner routes, routes as such.

You don't need him to take on more hits than necessary. Also use him as a decoy on tough routes but don't throw him the ball. Tell him to back off the blocking unless it's completely necessary.

After reading Spags article about it, I say no. I'd give it another week, at minimum.

I'd leave it up to TO. But even if he doesn't catch a pass he's valuable out there, he showed that in the Washington game.

I dont think there is much chance of re-injury, but again I'd leave it up to him.

If he feels he is ready to go then he should play if not then he should sit. This all comes down to how much pain can he play with. Doctors have said he is not risking further injury to the finger.
