I have been a Bledsoe fan for years, I live in Arizona, and am wondering if there is an air of excitement about the Cowboys this year? Is it revving up down there?

yeah, but we're a little cautious since the last few quarterbacks around here have stunk, but we are certainly more excited than past years.
Mosty around here, we want Parcells to open up the gameplan more to see what bledsoe can do

I live in Houston but all the Cowboy fans I know around here are very excited with the job Bledsoe has done. He is a breath of fresh air considering the poor play of Cowboy QB's in 7 past years

the atmosphere in Dallas is always optimistic if a bit guarded... the excitement level hasn't really got to the point where you can tell, though... wait for a couple more wins like Sunday...

I think there is probably more Astro excitement here at the moment. Much too early in the NFL season to notice anything really.

I am one of the few that got really excited when Bledsoe was picked up by the Cowboys. But I didn't even think he would do this good. On a side note, I'd say he's doing better than Vinny was at this point for all who like to bring that up.

Wow, I thought I was the only Astros fan in the metroplex. Good to know there are more like minded fans. Man, I wish we would play the Cards better, but their line up is so stacked, I am scared of em. Till Lidge takes the mound, then I can exhale and enjoy the last 3-6 outs the Cardinals have left. Lidge is so automatic is scary. I love it.

Well i live 100 miles south of Houston, so this place has a lot of Astro and Cowboy fans. I think this might be Houston’s year, be nice to see them make it to the World Series.

It varies...

Last week, we sucked, get the New Jersey Con man/Glorified Gym Teacher out of town...

Now it is Man, we are going all the way to the Super Bowl..

If we lose to the Giants the Pendulum will swing again.

That's my hometown for ya :).

Well I was skeptical because he had been in the league for a while. He lost his job in NE, rejected by Buffalo and I thought to myself, well here we go again with another retread QB.

But so far I have been quite pleased with his performance. He seems to be getting more comfortable which each passing week. I like the fact so far, he hasn't tried to make something out of nothing, If its not there, most of the times he throws the ball away instead of forcing it into double or triple coverage.(Unlike some of the QB's we have had here)

As long the O-line can keep protecting him and he has time in the pocket, he can really pick apart a defense. I am amazed at his arm stregnth and the accuracy he can produce.

Its to early in the season to say where Bledsoe will take us. But I do feel better knowing we have a QB that has proven he can still get the job done when his number is called. :)

Man, that would be excellent if they made it there. If they won it - WOW - I dont know what I would do. I have been an Astros fan since the mid 70's and have almost given up hope of ever making the series. Last year I thought was our best chance, then beltran screwed us over I figured this was a total rebuilding year. Biggio has surprised me again, this guy is such a ball player. Pettitt came back and has done well. Ensberg and Burke were pleasant, though not total, surprises. This team has so over achieved yet again. Lets do it for two more series.

With my Cowboys on the up and coming list, My spurs defending world Champions and the favorite to repeat and now my Astros rising from the dead again, What a great year for me as a sports fan. Would be great to see them all win it in one year so all my teams are on the top of their respective sports.

But in all honesty, I am just tickled about the Astros. I usually consider baseball season over in June/July. But man, these last two years has really been great. Best part about this year. Carlos Beltran is sitting at home watching my Astros play ball into October. How you liking your $120million now Carlos? If he had any balls, he coulda had that same 120 and still been playing ball in October. Stupid Boras clients......

My office is 2 blocks from Minute Maid Park, matter of fact looking at it from my office window right now. Like you I think this could be the year for the Astros and if they do this city will go nuts.
