Question for DFW residents re: traffic

So I'm flying into DFW Monday for the game, but the earliest flight I could get has me arriving at 5:24pm... with the game starting at around 7:35pm. Fingers crossed for no flight delays.

It's 15 miles from the airport to the stadium, and I'm planning on taking a cab from the airport straight there when I land. How long will it realistically take me? Am I screwed?

Thanks in advance. Sorry mods, feel free to move this if it's not the appropriate forum.

Are you not going to have luggage?

In similar situations, I've had the cab avoid the heart of the traffic and drop me off across I-30. It's less than a ten minute walk from there.

Good place to have them pick you up, too.

touch and go,360 is horrible at rush hour and i think you can make it by kickoff.

If you book it you'll make it but 360 has stopped traffic on a normal night. With the game it will be awful.

Traffic will be high but you will make it as long as there are no delays and you don't check-in luggage.

People don't give enough credit for this but the Metroplex has one of the nicest most organized highway systems in the country for big cities. We are lucky in this city.

Yep, I live at 360 and I-20, about 10 mils from the stadium. It could be 30 minutes or an hour and a half. Pray no one has a wreck on 360 south bound or you may miss the game.

Yeah, I'm only there for the night so I'm not even bringing a bag (will get confiscated by stadium security anyways). Going straight to the stadium. I'll buy whatever I need later.

I would send my luggage to the Hotel via UPS. You're going to need to get dropped off on the opposite side of I-30 from the stadium. That will leave you a long walk. Minimal luggage and getting a cab instead of rental car should allow you to get there.

I went to the game last week. On a normal day it's about a 45 minute drive to the stadium. We left right at the end of the game (6 something) and got home about 10pm. We went to the game about 4 hours early so that wasn't a problem.
