Question for female members - need input

Hello Ladies,

A thought occurred to me over the weekend. That should be a holiday, too, simply because it's so rare. Anywho, I was wondering if any of you would like some user-profiled option to denote whether you are female or not.

With some members names, like myself, it's pretty clear that we're ladies. With other members names, it's not so clear. So the question is would you like something like that? For example, you can select an image, or a male/female profile option so that you're not mistaken as a male in some of the Zone discussions.

Right now, we don't have anything in place like that, but it's up for consideration. Just trying to gauge interest.

There are quite a few on this board. Some, more active than others. It's just a matter of asking whether they're interested in denoting whether they're female so when jokes are made, there's no confusion.

Well, I guess I have to say I wouldn't mind, seeing as I picked a name that gave it away (Even though the name "WoodysGirl" was already taken...Damn, he's fine.) But, ugh... no pink! Only classic blue and silver for me, please.

I understand that I might encounter a bit of "boys will be boys" stuff here from time to time, and it would have to go a long way to actually bother me. I'd just hope I didn't miss out on a good laugh because somebody thought I'd be offended just cuz' they know I'm a girl and presume I'm too dainty to get the joke.

I think many male members here would be surprised at how many females are on this forum...

I get tickled at some comments I read from some guys on here directed at our female posters thinking they are guys all of the time. Many would be shocked if they knew some of our top posters are women and know this team and the game...

Oh, and don't pm me for id's... I will divulge nothing... women frighten me...

It sounds great to me because having "mama" in my username is a dead giveaway anyhow. I just don't want the guys to treat us differently because they know we're female. Some of our best posters have been women. I miss LaTuna. Maybe with Glenn back in the fold, she'll return.
