Question for mods

I’d say the last 2-3 weeks my ad experience here has changed and not in a welcome way. Now when I go to a new page or the next page in a thread I get these ads from Google that cover the entire page and force me to x out of it. When I x out the entire page reloads. It takes time and is extremely annoying. And it’s darn near each time I change a page or subject.

Is this my Google ad or a new feature on the site? It is making it far less enjoyable.

You are seeing Google ads but they have switched us from manual placement to "Auto Ads" so Google determines the number of ads and their placements.

Are Google Ads with our browser, or just how the site is set up? The only reason I ask is I normally use Chrome, but I wanted to see if the Ads issue is the same on Safari and it indeed is. Little you can control I suppose, but very overwhelming, and limits the patience I have to be more active here unfortunately
