Question for the Oldtimers

I'm an "oldtimer" myself, but I have a question regarding a player from just before "My time".

Do any of you remember a TE that was in Cowboys training camp as an undrafted rookie in 1986 by the name of Glenn Ryan?

Wow! The name does not ring a bell and I remember every player that was a Cowboy going back to 1966! Did he make the team?

What was he an instructor for? And is he enlisted or an officer? If I had to guess I would say officer since he went to college.

He was enlisted. He's no longer in the service.

He was teaching ICND1.
