Here goes:

Please name 2 QB's in the league that you honestly think would give this team a better chance to win than Tony Romo. Please don't forget that the QB you name would have to play behind our current O-Line. That means instant pressure from the time the ball is snapped when facing a 4-man rush. Your guy needs to be able to handle the pressure up the middle and off the right edge and find open receivers against 6 or 7 defenders in coverage.

Make sure your guy can handle at LEAST 10 knockdowns a game and remain relatively healthy as well.

:starspin Please refrain from Anti-Romo posts until you do... it makes you look ridiculous.

Romo and Miles Austin are the only good things about this team right now.

That eliminates Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, and pretty much every other QB in the league today.

Maybe Aaron Rodgers since he was under a LOT of pressure last season but I don't think he would do any better than Romo.

I'm fine with Romo for the most part. His on the field performance is generally always good and often fantastic. I don't like how he portrays himself in his press conferences at all. He just doesn't exude leadership there. Maybe he's just too depressed after a loss, but I just hate every time he just sits there with that stupid hat and says we've just got to get better.

I have no doubt that Romo has a lot to say to his OL and other players on the team, but seriously doubt that he or any other QB, would publicly chastice any of his offensive players in public. Wanting Romo to publicly condemn the performance of some of his teammates isn't what a leader does unless of course he believes/knows he has the support of his coaching staff and indeed has total confidence in his coaches. Does anybody think/believe Romo has confidence in the coaching staff? Maybe if he really had something to see it would include criticism of them along with some of the players. But suspect Romo also is critical of himself cause he can't overcome all the problems on this team.

Frankly, the only bright spots on this team are Romo, Austin, Dez, RWilliams, Ratliff, Ware, Free & a very few others.

So we lose another game in agonizing fashion and your highest priority is protecting Tony from message board criticisms he doesn't even know exist? Keep your eyes on the prize.

What should he do? Cry about the teams performance on a message board they do not even read?

Is that the prize?

Do you really think there is anything he can say after a loss that would make you feel better, more confident about where things are headed?

I'm hearing a lot of Romo "doesn't sound like a leader in his game after a LOSS press conferences".

What I think you and others are actually saying/calling for is for Romo to start calling out those who are at fault.

My question is, do you really think that would help or be the appropriate move?
Do the active SB winning QBs do that? Brees, Manning, Brady?
Do they call out players or coaches publically?

How can that possibly help? Or are you so hurt, your primary concern is for those responsible for your pain to pay for it?

I figured he would be the first name that came up. but Romo is having a way better year than Rodgers... statistically speaking.

The Packers Defense has forced 8 turnovers and 21 sacks... Dallas has 3 turnovers and 9 sacks.

Green Bays wins against

Philly
19-31, 188 yds
2 TDs, 2 INTs

Buffalo
19-29, 255 yds
2 TDs
5 Rush, 20 yds, 1 TD

Detroit
12-17, 181 yds
3 TDs, 2 INTs

Show that he isn't "all that"

Really his only good game this year was against the hapless Bills, where he wasn't sacked once.

I'll Take Romo over Rodgers.

Not another one of these threads/posts. Whenever Tony turns the ball over, 13 threads pop-up calling out Romobashers and making excuses for each and every turnover.

Why not? It would show he's paying attention to what's happening. This board is for us, the fans, not the players. If Tony, by some miracle, is a member of this forum, then he can log on and defend himself quite handily. He doesn't need self-appointed water carriers doing it for him.

I remeber the o-line being really bad when blodsoe was the quarterback. Everyone was talking about how we had to completely redo the line and the offense would never do anything until we improved it. Parcells replaces bledsoe with romo and suddenly the line wasn't an issue. They almost became a strength. Romo doesn't look like the escape artist he did when he fisrt beacame a starter. In fact he's starting to look more and more like bledsoe in the pocket to me.

Romo isn't infallible. No one on the team is.

I think the leadership argument against him is wack, but criticizing him when he messes up isn't bashing him.

You admittedly didn't even watch the game, so your opinions on anything involving the game holds no merit.

Maybe defending his favorite player from morons is how he gets through this, instead of just throwing a tantrum about the teams problems.

Yeah, apparently turning the ball over three times didn't actually happen, since I didn't watch the game.

do we even have an established offense set or do we poke and hope?

I really dont think anyone should be bashing Romo since he does play better games than bad ones. That aside, all of our WR's are doing their best. So i blame Garrett, Sherman is so good at his job Roy Williams is working good this year.

We dont utilize Bennett correctly in my opinion. The whole league has told Garrett to use Felix first, Barber for goaline 4th quarter work, Him smarter tho and his way is working, for hte other teams.

I dont think any QB would have fun behind our Oline except for Cutler whos used to it or David Carr.

I dont think its the QB so much as Garrett doesnt have that offense clicking and the one time it was really clicking Garrett did the go ahead and screwed it up.

My question is, is it the QB or the guy who wont work with him. From day 1 its been work against what Romo does best, so Romo changes and it still hasnt worked.

I think Romo played his best games while Wade Wilson was suspeneded. I like Wilson i hope i am wrong with that statement but some of his best games has been under that time.

I hate to say it but Romo should have been left alone and the coaches should have worked around him.

We went from 2 interceptions a game to a possible 3 or 4 sometimes.
