In a few weeks I will be buying this TV:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7223662&Sku=S222-6006

The plan is to have it on the wall in front of my extremely comfortable recliner, have my Dish, PS3 and PC all connected to it. An all in one media center if you will. The Dish and PS3 I'm not worried about, as I basically have that setup now with my current TV. My main question is what type of cable I should use to hook the PC to the TV. I would think HDMI, but almost everything I read about doing that type of thing mentions VGA and DVI ports exclusively. Right now my PC is hooked up to my computer monitor (27" LG LED) through an HDMI port, and I have no problems. Any information on this would be a great help. Thanks guys.

For the best quality, you will want to go with an HDMI port.

I have a dedicated HTPC hooked up to my flat screen TV.

What are the available video out ports on your computer?

+1 for HDMI. You will probably want the sound from the PC to pass through to the TV.

I've got my HTPC hooked up to my TV by HDMI. One cable, no hassle. Sweet TV you got there btw.

Another tip - go to Monoprice.com for all your cables - they have unbeatable prices.

Same, using an HDMI cable. The PC audio goes to my 5.1 speaker setup.
