Lets just say we look ahead of time and if deangelo hall was a cowboy next season and would be a great young corner and he would have no attitude problems and would be well liked within the locker room and coaching staff. Would you trade 22, 28 and barber to Atlanta for there #1(most likely mcfadden) and deangelo hall. Just throwing it out there i know hall isnt liked at all by us cowboy fans and atlanta would most likely do it they need as many picks as they can get and they need a between the tackle running back to team up with Norwood. So d hall and mcfadden for barber and both our first round picks, would you pull the trigger?

i would but only if i was 100% sure i would get mcfadden with the falcons #1 pick. i think some of hall's problems are because #1 he doesn't have another good corner on the other side(the falcons d-line sucks too) and #2 he plays on a crappy team and he knows it. i think if he was on this team he would get more focused and play smarter knowing he's on a team that at least has a shot at the superbowl. but it will never happen and 9/10 people who answer this will say they wouldn't do it.

Im a big hall fan but your right people dont like him because he is a little cocky and had a incident with t.o. I would do that deal if like you said we would get mcfadden forsure of course. If we looked ahead and knew deangelo hall would be elite if he came here and mcfadden would turn out to be a great pro like hes suppost to be that deal would be money.. NO DOUBT

This move would make very little sense to me. In the NFL, you don't beat teams by running to the outside much. Every team is fast to the edge. How does trading a proven runner for a guy who has yet to prove he can run tough inside in the NFL, help you? I like McFadden but I don't like him as the primary ball carrier for the Cowboys. It will be interesting to see how his game translates into the NFL. I just don't know if he is a starting 3 down back in the NFL, as a Rookie. Help at CB would be great but it would not be a cheap thing to sign Hall IMO. Between Hall, Newman, Henry, Roy and Hamlin, that would be a hugh chunk of cap invested in our DBs. don't know if that would be a good thing or not, down the line.

I don't like that trade. I think I'd rather draft a decent CB prospect and RB to come in and compliment what we already have.

Thats a great point. A CB picked at 22 or later will be a LOT less than Hall. We have to resign newman and Id like the cap flexibility to stay.

Why do we insist on getting rid of MBIII? Seemed to me that every time he was in the game Dallas played better. Can we put a value on attitude?
