Yes we all hate the Commanders, we always have and always will.

But for many the rivarly just has not been the same for a while now.

It got dull.

So my question is did last night light that fire for you again?

Is the rivarly full blown back in your mind?

Nope. They were due to win a lucky one and they did.

It always was the best rivalry to me....and by the reactions of some fans here that are mad about losing...I take it that maybe it was a little more of a rivalry then they cared to admit.

I think so. But we'll have to see it again a few more times, before I believe it truly is a rival again.

Skins played with a lot of heart and determination that they haven't shown in YEARS. So if they continue to display that, then the rivalry should be back in full swing. Where the games are more meaningful, not just for the fans, but the organizations involved and the division itself.

Honestly, the fact that I live in Skins country only makes it more upsetting for me than it should be. Otherwise, it's just a heartbreaking loss that we can hopefully bounce back from. I have a lot of Commanders fans who are friends and they don't talk trash at all to me because I never do to them. I just want to see my team win and that's all I care about.

I think last night's game exemplifies how "the sun doesnt shine on the same dog's tail every day." Washington was due and made a couple of nice plays in the end, stole one. We watched, but the Cowboys never answered. Perhaps some day the rivalry will be close to what it once was.
