Question on IPad

So the volume on my iPad stopped working on web sites, YouTube , etc but works on Facebook any ideas?

When you say it works on facebook, does it work on the facebook web site or facebook app?

Try turning your iPad off and rebooting it if you haven't yet. Every so often something weird happens with iOS and a reboot can clear it.

Is it only Safari that you are not hearing sounds for? Try installing Chrome for iPad and see if sound works on web sites with it.

Go to multiple sites and verify sound is not working. If it is just Youtube, you may have clicked the sound icon and muted videos on youtube.

It's the Facebook app that it works on. But yeah, I've rebooted and verified it's all websites, but even the game apps the sound doesn't work. I have safari, but don't really use it, I'll try Chrome. Thanks

I've had similar issue... believe it was an iPhone though.

Ha, yes..it was so simple I was embarrassed to say. That first link had the answer. There's a little dot switch next to the two volume buttons that was switched over to mute. All I needed to do was look at darn thing. Thanks again for the info

Still kinda weird the volume would work on FB

Yeah similar deal happened to my friends phone.

Yeah must be separate for FB.
